The Scheme
This Scheme involves the construction of a brand new school building in Oldham which was procured through the Department for Education framework; the £19.7m Brian Clarke Church of England Academy in Oldham. The project for The Cranmer Education Trust will create a 1,200 place school situated on an easily accessible, town centre site on Booth Street, benefitting from existing public transport links, providing catchment for young people across a wide geographical area.
Over the course of this project we will be erecting scaffolds across the lower level roof to facilitate the brickwork to the main building. Internally we will be building 3 no. birdcaged scaffolds to the rooflights one of which which will be built through the feature staircase. There is also an external traditionally built plant room where we will be providing internal & external working platforms to construct the building.
