In summer 2021, the business took the decision to move over to a digital integrated mobile platform as opposed to our previous handwritten methods.
With the help of our current stakeholder Strikesoft, this has become an integral tool in enabling us to streamline our own daily communications internally, with our client and our teams on site.

Moving with technology has allowed us to be able to record live data and store in the ‘cloud’, reduce our management time collecting/collating data, enabled us to be pro active upon receipt of the same & helps us reduce our carbon footprint throughout the process.
Scaffolders can record handovers, variations, complete load lists, have access to site specific info and much more directly from their mobile.

The general progress and feedback we have received since our transition has been outstanding. Therefore, we have taken the decision to present a monthly award throughout 2022 to the operatives who excel with their customer service to our respected clients. Additionally, we have decided to not only reward the individuals but also support a charity of their choice.

During this integration period notable contributions from Dale Cryne, Chris Morris, Leon Eadsforth, Josh Howson & Kane Hickman haven’t gone unnoticed. For this reason, they have all received a reward for their efforts and we have supported their chosen charities too.

Ashley Knight – Contracts Manager

We would like to congratulate Ash on his recent promotion from Scaffold Foreman to Contracts Manager.
Ash was one of vey first Scaffolders to join in Rose’s infancy and has delivered some of our most prestigious schemes to date.
During this time, we recognised Ash’s qualities and potential for his own personal growth. Ash has a wealth of knowledge within the scaffold industry having worked on the tools for 15+ years.

Ash has transitioned into the office seamlessly under the watchful eye of our Operation Director Chris Howson.
Ash’s role will enable Rose to continue to grow and we are looking forward to him delivering more schemes to his quality & standards.

Ash said “I am enjoying the new role, meeting & dealing with more clients and looking forward to the journey ahead”.

Good luck to our employee James Harrison who has been nominated as a “finalist” for Apprentice of the Year for the upcoming NASC - National Access and Scaffolding Confederation awards.

Hopefully this is the first #NASC nomination of many.

James joined us 18 months ago as our Digital Apprentice Technician to aid our vision for the growth and development of the business. Working with our Estimating department, Contracts Team & Scaffolder’s on site he has had a positive impact with everybody. Alongside James’ day to day work he is completing a 3D Digital Design Engineering Course ran by Cadcoe at Dudley College.

Here’s what James had to say…

We are nearing completion on The Christie’s Macclesfield Hospital for VINCI Construction UK. We have provided basic and unique access requirements throughout this scheme along with the edge protection completed with our Layher system.

This has been a great project to be involved with.
